Nasia Papavasiliou

Nasia and Gonzalo is an Artist Duo that was formed in Berlin.

 

In their practice, they are using raw materials to initiate architectural interventions, performative actions and ephemeral surfaces that explore concepts of geopolitical, sociopolitical, conflicted narratives.
 

When working they try to think of forms and ideas that involve the body, the format and the scale in which the performativity of materials can occur.

 

All in response to either site specificity or imaginary landscapes where the human interval shifts and moves the space to inform meanings and poetic interpretations.
 

Right now, the Artist duo works in a performative series using the combination of the symbolic and metaphoric materials of charcoal and salt.
